On the monitor, there are several modes that are worth mentioning. The Alienware 25 AW2518H is an excellent gaming monitor that plays to Alienware’s strengths. The colors are vibrant straight out of the box.

Assembly is literally a snap with the monitor simply snapping onto the high quality metal base. There were no choppy scenes in any of my gameplays and I never noticed any drop in frame rates.

The built-in settings menu is pretty nice, with several quick-presets for various game modes and the ability to customize the functions assigned to some of the quick-access buttons. I normally play on a 55" LG OLED which is awesome for single player games but for online competitive gaming it's a bit tiresome with the constant head movements.
The design of this Alienware monitor is very unique. Thanks to its solid gamer-centric aesthetic and performance to match, it’s hard not to like this monitor. As for Free Sync itself, I tested several games to see if I could feel a difference or see any when I had it enabled versus with it turned off.
I Still cant find it though, came in original packaging as well, no components unwrapped. Would be a 5 were it not for the fact that, in order for this monitor to run at speeds higher than 60 Hz, you not only have to buy a DisplayPort cable (not included) but also spend a bunch of time researching which type of DisplayPort cable to buy (many if not most being sold out there will not work).
Super fast is the worst looking of the bunch with coronas contaminated by the surrounding colours. Standard had the least artifacts but visibly looks like it changes slower, resulting in ghosting or smeering of the image in comparison to the faster modes.

I also looked at some backgrounds with more orange and red and the color seemed fairly accurate. The Alienware - AW2518H 25" LED FHD GSync Monitor - Black is a force to be reckoned with when it comes to gaming and performance! Thin Bezel really means more screensize and better gaming experiences and looks nicer. The colors are also decent for a TN panel, but not nearly as vibrant as they are on IPS or VA panel monitors. - The stand is solid and allows for physical screen adjustments in multiple directions without compromising the security of the screen.
However, I noticed it almost sharpens the image too much if your game is not extremely dark or your game's brightness is too high. This will allow you to get the most out of it, including the FreeSync feature. However, if you’re looking to game on 1440p resolution this monitor is not for you.
